Purchased for my three-year-old. He likes it but not for the amount we paid for it. It's fun to shoot the flyers off the little truck, but only for as long as that lasts (a few minutes). If he gets more creative maybe he'll play longer with it. The pieces do fall apart when pulled, my 8 month old has no problem disassembling it. It has not fallen apart on it's own and holds up nice. I'm sure some kids will enjoy this toy for hours on end but mine does not. I guess my main gripe is the price, the product is not equivalent to the price. It doesn't do anything other than make muffled airplane & helicopter noises. My 3 year old son loves this toy. Easy to assemble comes with a helicopter, 2 planes, a jet and a"dump truck" as my son calls it. Hours of fun and multiple kids can play at once, it's larger than I expected. Well worth the price! This toy was a huge disappointment. The tracks don't stay together at all and come apart at the least movement. I gave this to my grandson for Christmas and his dad said he'd have to super glue it to ensure that it doesn't keep falling apart. I wanted to return it but my son thought he could "make it work." Complete waste of money. Would not recommend it at all.My 3 and 5 year old love this toy. The plane is the best. Can't keep them away from it.Product delivered as promised. So my boys love anything to do with transportation, whether it be planes, trains or automobiles. Last year for Christmas I bought them a big car ramp, this year though I had my eye on the Big Adventures Action Fliers set from Little Tikes. It combined the fun of airplanes and cars, literally! Once you snap the set together, yes its pretty easy (no tools required) you are ready to play. The set does require 2 AA batteries for the helicopter landing pad, but actually we haven't even added those yet.The set has two ramps - one is a spiral one and the other just a straight down ramp for launching the planes. Yes you can launch planes from the top of the garbage truck! See I told you that this set combines airplanes and cars literally. The foam plane slides on the truck and you just launch it down. The plane flies a good few feet too! When you are done, there is a hanger for to place the planes until your ready to use them again. I do wish the planes were more durable (not just foam) but then I am not sure they would fly so well. You can though use your own cars and trucks for the ramps, which my boys quickly figured out.As far as durability goes, this definitely could be sturdier as it wobbles a bit at the top, but for the price I didn't expect too much. With two different ramps both my boys can play and enjoy it and even at 4 and 5 years old they are loving this.Even my 16 month old wanted to play! This toy is basically a giant slide for a little truck that carries a foam plane on its back. When the truck gets to the end of the slide it stops short and sends the plane soaring. It also has a helicopter on a helicopter pad that makes some noise when you push the button.First, the pros:It's durable and the quality is good: This toy is made of solid, thicker plastic which is not as flimsy or cheap as other toys that are more expensive and the same size. It's big. Not sure if that's really a pro or not, but this is a very large toy.If you get the little foam plane into the truck correctly it flies quite far.Cons:In spite of being large, it doesn't do that much. I'm not even sure why it has such a large center part, since it is really just a support for the slide part. Other than the truck rolling down the ramp and the helicopter making a little noise, it offers nothing of interest. No hidden doors, no moving parts. It got boring real fast for my 3 year old.It comes apart easily. It didn't come apart by accident, though. It was just that my 3 year old quickly started pulling it apart when he got bored, so in no time at all it was in pieces everywhere. The little foam planes are not that easy to get into the truck carrier just right so that they actually fly. My 3 year old could do it some of the time but not all the time, so it led to quicker boredom and frustration. It came without the stickers in place. I had to spend a good 30 minutes putting all the decals on. Honestly, it was excessive, and my child was bored with the toy by the time I finished putting the stickers on it and making it look nicer.Overall, it was huge, but not all that fun. Maybe a younger child would have enjoyed it more, but I still think it would get boring since they wouldn't be able to operate the planes correctly on their own. I can't recommend this one.I thought the fairest way to review this product was to get feedback from both myself and a couple of kids. The result would have been a rating of 2 for me and 3 for the kids. They kept telling me how much fun it was. And the one thing I considered a major flaw - the toy comes apart very easily - was actually fun for them because they liked putting it back together! So okay. I could see that...a little...from their perspective. But I absolutely did NOT agree with their definition of "durable" .I think a toy needs to last for a fair amount of time to meet those criteria. A week's worth of durability would have been fine with the kids.... and actually, even a week was pushing it for some parts of this toy! It is, to be generous, flimsy. It tips over easily. It comes apart easily.Bottom line on how I judge toys: value, durability, good for imaginative play, holds attention, not frustrating to put together, etc.Bottom line on how 2 kids judged this: fun. This is too large for a small play space. There are far sturdier choices out there. But do the kids still play with it? Yes. Do they mind having to put it back together? Not so much.So there you have it. Two views. Take your pick.I bought this for my two year old son for his birthday. He loves it and plays with it all the time. So easy to put together aswell only down side is you have to keep putting it together if your hand is heavy handed with it.
