I purchased these for my son, and he loves them(also purchased for my daughter in purple)! One of the things I like most about this shoe so far is that it is very light and flexible while at the same time being very warm. The lining which is called "Thermalite insulation" is very thin but extremely warm. My children are able to wear these boots in sub-zero temps without complaints. The boot shaft comes between mid calf and knee and has a nice draw string so that no snow gets in the top. The only downfall (which I can totally live with) is that the lining comes out every time my sontakes his feet out. Other than that, they are arguably the best boots I've purchased.My son is very picky when it comes to shoes. He is almost 4. Last year he would scream and fight us when we needed to put boots on him. Not this year! He loves these boots and has even insisted on wearing them to daycare. They are a win!
