Love the Sola levels, I have had a couple of this type and only had a problem with one of the vial closure caps coming loose but it was fixed easily. My only compliant and its not even that, more of a added design feature, add a bridge on one one side of the top vial so you can use it as a strait edge or marking continuous lines without a 2" dip in the middle. It would be nice to have a solid edge for drawing a level line, if you use it inverted its less accurate and in 20' of wall cabinets means a big difference at the end of the run if you dropped more than 1/4"-1/2". And yes when you set the level down it sometimes chatters a bit, but I found Stabila levels do the same things, so I'm not too worried about it.I was worried when I bought the level because it didn't have handles but it fits great in the hand. It's a little on the smaller side of levels I've owned and used. (Smaller in the hand compared to the stabila which I do love) But it feels like it will hold up to anything that happens to it. I don't know if I would put it above the stabila. But it is a very close second. For the price for the sola it's a great deal one can't go wrong with. Great levels as far as what they offer. If only they would make a plate level now.The best bubbles but weak beam. Heavy commercial construction use beat this level up and no longer get is accurate after 2 months. Stabila is still the only level I can trust but the bubble is hard to seeThey seem to be okay, the levels are a 1/3 smaller than your average level more like a homeowner type.
